Dear Readers,
I was scrolling through Facebook today and the scripture Mosiah 24:14-15 came up on my feed, which is about the Lord lifting our burdens and always being there for us. It was just what I needed to hear today, my favorite part of that scripture is when it states: "... that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions" I really like this part because it serves as a reminder that the Lord is always there for us and he will never leave us, especially during the hard times. We all have struggles, sometimes it may seem that others have it so easy or that others' struggles seem to be much worse than ours and sometimes we may feel weak for struggling with what we are dealing with. I just want to say that we all struggle in our own way, we should never feel like we are weak. A devotional was recently given at BYU Idaho where the speaker talked about how each and every one of us go through different things and we all struggle in different ways. The speaker reminded everyone that the Lord gives us struggles that are best suited for us, to help us individually become better and stronger. The Lord gives us trials because He loves us and He wants us to progress and live up to our full potential and those trials allow us to become more faithful. We might be given a trial because the Lord knows that someone else will be going through that similar trial and He knows that you are the person that can help them get through that. Heavenly Father and Christ love us all deeply and individually, they will always be there to help us through the hard times. If you are going through any sort of struggle right now, just remember that Christ suffered it as well and knows EXACTLY how you feel and He is there to help get you through it and He will help guide you to the people that can lift you up and bring you closer to Him.
Until Next Time! Thanks for reading :)
